A year ago, I was put in the hospital with heart failure and extreme fluid build up. Days later, I woke with doctors and others around my bed telling me they do not know why I am still alive.

In April, the heart medications messed with my kidneys, and I passed out. While I was in the hospital, Faith School and the sermons I had downloaded were my spiritual food. This encouraged both staff and other patients in both admissions. [And the music, too]

A year later, I have lost over 100 lbs, my heart sounds good, and I am no longer on any diabetic medications. So much to thank the Lord for! I am praising God for the victories He has wrought in my life and health! All glory to God!

On a Saturday morning, I checked myself into a local hospital. I was diagnosed with a nonworking aortic valve in my heart. The surgery was scheduled for the following Monday. I woke up Wednesday just before noon. The only thing I remember is walking into the ER, then nothing until I woke up after two weeks in ICU, on the day of my discharge to go home.

The heart surgeon told me they didn’t think I was going to make it to the surgery, then during the surgery I died for five minutes, and there was nothing they could do according to the surgeon, but God gave me life back. The doctors even said it was a miracle, because they didn’t think I was going to make it after the surgery.

I just want to testify. I’m still here, glory to God! Thank you, Brother Keith, Miss Phyllis, and Faith Life Church for your prayers, for Faith School, and for making your messages available online! All the glory be to our good God.

Today’s Faith School was a teaching designed especially for me.

Today is Monday. All weekend I was overwrought with emotional attacks from the devil. It seemed I just couldn’t get passed them. Praying in the spirit and reading the Bible gave me peace, but everything came back the minute I stopped. I was so distraught. This morning I watched Faith School, and Brother Moore addressed my problem so beautifully. They were exactly the words I needed to hear so I could get free. And I did. Who the Son sets free is free indeed! Hallelujah! Thank You Jesus!

"I unexpectedly lost my job on September 5th last year. I believed I would get a job right away, but it didn’t work out like that.

Brother Moore has been talking to us about building our storehouses, and I am thankful that I listened and did what he said. That meant that I had money available while I wasn’t working. Month after month, I kept believing that I would get a job, but it didn’t happen. I stayed in faith by reading the promises of God in His Word, going to church and watching Faith School. I had a lot of family and friends praying for me, including team members from the Greeter Team, Clean Team, and Altar Care Team. The Faith School series I “just happened to be watching” when I lost my job was Faith For Provision.

On Tuesday, February 3, during the week of the Greater Faith Conference, I had an interview. On Thursday, February 5, I started my new job. Exactly five months to the day that I lost my job! I know God is my Provider and my Restorer. I look forward to what He is doing in my life now and in my future! By the way, it’s good AND important to be on a team.
